The traditional understanding is being challenged.  My belief is that we need to re-inforce the traditional Judeo/Christian definition of marriage for the overall good of the society.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For me, marraige is a covenantal relationship between a man and a woman that is serious, sacred, and sacrificial.  There is no reason to adjust this basic definition. The White House issued a statement referring to her religious faith. Immediately, many Media and political personages complained. Comments were made indicating the need for separation of church and state; of legal opinions being made based solely on the law; etc.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Personally, I want people in public office who rely on prayer and faith when decisions must be made. My ministry is a constant call to persons to depend upon a divine power for guidance in daily living.
